Tea Time

One of my absolute favorite things to do every time we go on a cruise is go to Tea Time!  They always have different flavored hot teas available (but you can have something else to drink if you'd like), and they make the most amazing pastries, little sandwiches, and other food.  Oh my goodness!  I always try to sample everything at least once, but sometimes I just get too full!  LOL!

What better way to remember Tea Time than to make a scrapbook page about it!

The White Coconut Creme flavored tea from Art of Tea is my absolute fave!  We're going on another cruise in May 2024, and I can't wait, because I get to go to Tea Time again!

I used a combination of elements from Carta Bella's Homemade with Love collection and Echo Park's Happiness is Homemade collection on this page.  The two bottom photos are triple matted, and I used Thickers Sparkling glitter letter stickers in Silver for the title.  I'm also entering this page for the following challenges:

613 Avenue Create--September 2023 Anything Goes (They're also having a Design Team Call!)

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope everyone has a great weekend!  Happy scrapping!

School Days

Happy Labor Day weekend, everyone!  I hope most of you can enjoy an extra day off on Monday.

Sketch Saturday has a great new sketch challenge, so instead of trying it with a card, I thought I'd use it for a layout!  Here's the sketch for Sketch #733:

I decided to use a new photo of my youngest son to create a layout based on the sketch:

The theme twist for this sketch is to use sequins, so I included some on the left side of the page.  Everything on this page came from the new Photo Play Brainiac collection except for the sequins.  The larger ones were in my stash, and the smaller ones are Bella Creationz Clearly Beautiful sequins (although I don't believe you can get these anymore).

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great scrappy weekend!

I MADE TOP 5!!!

I was so excited to find out today that I made the Top 5 at The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge for Challenge #145!  Here's the card that made the Top 5:

It's been a really long time since I entered a creative challenge for anything, so it was nice to see!  I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Merry Christmas Snoopy

Everyone loves Snoopy, right?  We all remember him sleeping on top of his doghouse or flying after the Red Baron.  When I saw this rubber stamp of Snoopy several years ago, I knew I HAD to have it, and it's become one of my favorite stamps for Christmas cards.

I always love the simplicity of this card!  I used colored pencils to color the doghouse and the Christmas lights, and I added some Stickles to enhance the snow.  The sentiment is from The Stamps of Life's Christmastree2stamp set (which I believe has been discontinued).  I'm also entering this in the Anything Christmas Goes challenge at The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge and at the Anything Goes challenge at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy scrapping!

Merry Christmas poinsettia

Once I had this simple card put together, I thought it needed a little something extra.  I decided to add red, green, and gold Stickles to certain parts of the card to set things off.  Who doesn't love a Christmas card with a little bling?!?

The Stickles colors I used here are Christmas Red, Gold, and Green.  The Holly and Ivy Christmas Christmas Challenge currently has an Anything Christmas Goes challenge, so I'll be entering this there.

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy scrapping!

Deck the Halls

I always love making Christmas cards throughout the year, because it gives me a good jump on having plenty of cards made when it's time to send them out.  The current challenge at Christmas with the Cuties is Something Green, so I thought this card fit perfectly!

This card also works at The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge, as their current challenge is Anything Christmas Goes.

I hope you have the time to make some Christmas cards early, too, if you make them yourself.  Thanks for stopping by!  Happy scrapping!
